What is the Purpose of the Residential Parking Sticker Program?
A deficiency in residential parking spaces throughout the community has resulted in the need to restrict parking on Everett's streets to only vehicles registered in the City.
What Streets will be Included in the Residential Parking Sticker Program?
The Residential Parking Sticker Program is citywide and will include all streets as well as City-owned parking lots.
During What Days and Hours will the Residential Parking Sticker Program be in Effect?
The program will be enforced Monday through Friday and will exclude holidays, Saturday and Sunday. the hours of enforcement will be Midnight-6AM for residential streets and 1AM-6AM for the Business Districts.
What is the Cost of a Residential Parking Sticker?
Residential Stickers will be issued FREE from January 2nd through February 28th to those residents who provide the required proof of residency. Beginning February 29th, the cost to residents will be ten dollars ($10). In addition, each time a registration is changed and a new residential sticker is required, the cost will be ten dollars ($10).
How Long is a Residential Parking Sticker Valid?
Residential parking stickers are valid until December 31st of the current year.
How can I obtain a Residential Parking Sticker?
Residential parking stickers may only be obtained online at https://EverettParking.CityHallSystems.com. If you do not have access to the Internet or require assistance navigating the online application, a computer terminal has been set up in the lobby of the Collector's Office on the first floor of City Hall.
What Hours is the City Parking Clerk's Office Open?
The Parking Clerk's Office is open Monday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. In the event of a Monday Holiday, the hours on Tuesday will be 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
What if I have a Visitor who needs to Park on the Street?
A resident may obtain a Visitor Placard from the Parking Clerk's Office during normal business hours. The placard which is placed in their visitor's vehicle allows them to park on the streets of Everett. The resident must submit proof of residency - Mass. driver's license or utility bill with current address - before being provided a visitor placard.
How much does a Visitor Placard Cost?
Placards are available in the following increments: $5 for a 1 day placard, $10 for a 7 day placard, $15 for a 14 day placard, $20 for a 21 day placard and $25 for a placard that is good for 30 days.
How can I obtain a Visitor Placard?
Visitor placards may be obtained at the Parking Clerk's Office at City Hall.
Can a Residential Parking Sticker or Visitor Placard be Transferred to Another Vehicle?
NO. There are serious fines for misuse or unauthorized sale of these items. A resident with a valid residential parking sticker who purchases a new vehicle but keeps the same plates may transfer the sticker to the new vehicle.
Does the Residential Parking Sticker Guarantee me a Parking Space?
NO, it does not guarantee you a parking space.
Is there a Fine for not Displaying a Residential Parking Sticker or Visitor Placard during the Applicable Hours?
Vehicles without a valid sticker or placard will be fined $25.00, if parked on City streets or in City-owned parking lots. In addition, vehicles will be towed after being issued five or more tickets.
Will the City of Everett be liable for any Vehicle Damaged While Parked on a City Street?
NO, the City of Everett shall not be held liable for any vehicle damaged while parked on a City street.

Who Qualifies as an Everett Resident?
A resident of Everett is defined as any person actually living at a street address in Everett. Proof of residency is required to obtain resident stickers. No P.O. boxes are accepted. Proof of Residency can be established by a drivers license, car registration, tax or utility bill, lease or other document establishing residency. Any vehicle covered by a parking sticker must be listed as prinicipally garaged in Everett with the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles

What do I do if I need a Replacement Stickers?
If you need a replacement sticker, please call or visit the Everett Parking Clerk's Office or call City Hall Systems at (508) 381-5456 for assistance. In order to get a replacement sticker you will need to return the original. There is a $10 fee for a replacement sticker..
